HOW DO I RESERVE MY PUPPY?
Emails are great, and of course, you are welcome to call me to talk. I accept phone calls until 8:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, at 912-425-9332. If I cannot answer at the moment, please leave me a message, and I will return your call as soon as possible. NO TEXTS PLEASE. I would like to know a little about you to assure that our babies go to good homes only. I will be more than happy to send more photos and answer any questions you may have.
EMAIL NOTIFICATION LIST: If you are interested in being notified when new puppies are going to be posted on my website, I do have an email notification list. You will need to email me and request for your email to be flagged out in order to be notified prior to new puppies being posted on my site. I email people on my notification list approximately 24 hours before puppies will be listed on my site. I will put newborns on "temporary hold" for someone before I post them on my site, but only if they contact me from time to time to see if the new puppies are born.
WAITING LIST: I do have waiting lists for puppies, so if you send me your name and phone number by email, I will be glad to add you to it. I will start contacting people after the puppies are born and will put them on temporary hold for people. I try to go by the order of the list, but if I can't get ahold of someone, I will need to go ahead and go to the next person. I contact people through email and texts, so please make sure you provide your cell number in case I can't reach you by email. Since many of my puppies are held early before posting them on my site, it is very important that if you are interested in a particular type/color of puppy, you email me often to check on the status of upcoming litters also. If you want to be added to my Havapoo list, you will need to designate if you want a Confetti (merle) or non-Confetti, or if you would consider both.
DEPOSITS: I will temporarily hold a newborn puppy, but will not accept the $200 deposit until their eyes/ears are open and I know all the puppies are doing well. The deposit is required within 72 hours after I post the puppy on my site (unless a deposit is being mailed), which is usually at the 3-4 week old period. The deposit goes toward the price of the puppy, and the balance is not due until the day of pick-up, or at least 2 days before the flight date. Deposits are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to a future puppy.
HOW DO I PAY THE DEPOSIT? I do accept payments by Paypal, but if you don't have a Paypal account, I can send you an invoice by email and you can use your debit or credit card without creating a Paypal account. I do waive the 3% fee on deposits, but if you are paying the remainder by Paypal, you will need to add the 3% fee that Paypal charges me. I will accept personal checks through the mail ONLY for deposits, since the check will have time to clear before you get your puppy. I also accept money orders by 2-day mail (in case we need to track it), as well as Western Union and MoneyGram (at Walmart) wire transfers through the mail. Only cash is accepted when you pick up your puppy (NO PERSONAL CHECKS ON PICK-UPS).
HOW DO I GET MY PUPPY?
PICK-UP / SHIPPING: I always prefer pick-up, but will ship, if necessary. I only charge what it costs me to fly your puppy to you. The shipping cost for one puppy is $325.00, which includes airfare (approximately $240), health certificate from the vet ($50), travel crate, bedding, and my trip to the airport in Savannah (an hour and 15 minutes away from me). Two puppies shipping together in the same crate is $375.00 since I will need to get a second health certificate from my vet. I only use Delta or Continental (they both do a wonderful job) and I always strive to get the shortest flight possible. We ship anywhere in the continental U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico, Alaska, and other countries which can accept pets without excessive quarantine restrictions.
PARTIAL DELIVERY: If my schedule allows it, I also provide partial delivery to anywhere that is approximately an hour from my house for a $25 travel fee. This will decrease your round trip by 2 hours. Of course, you are encouraged to visit us at any time!
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I GET MY PUPPY?
We can assure you that your puppy is in good health and has been properly dewormed and vaccinated with his/her first shots. We do provide a written one-year health guarantee for congenital problems. You will be provided with extensive information about taking care of your new family member. I do ask that all new owners call me the day after they get their puppy, just so I can see everything is going great. I want to make sure that the transition period goes smoothly, so I work very hard making sure that my puppies are very socialized, healthy, and totally ready to go to their new homes. I love to stay in touch with people who have gotten puppies from me, so an occasional update and new picture is greatly appreciated! Owners are encouraged to call me at any time after they get their puppy with any questions. I am here for the life of your puppy.
I do not take calls, check emails, accept visits/pick-ups, or fly puppies on Sundays since I reserve that day for my church and family. If you call on Sunday, please leave a message, and I will return your call on Monday. I do not answer my phone after 8 p.m. No texting please.
